Beyond browser bookmarks

Your bookmarks deserve a private home of their own.

A collection of saved links can reveal your work, research, purchases, finances, interests, and future plans. SaltMark keeps that collection inside a dedicated vault instead of a browser profile.

  1. Save links from the browser without breaking your flow.

  2. Drag bookmarks between folders, then drop tags onto one or many items.

  3. Get back to the right link without digging through browser menus.

  4. Each vault is one portable encrypted file under your control.

  5. Copy, move, or store the vault file in a location you choose.

  6. Create encrypted snapshots in a folder you choose, with iCloud available only if you enable it.

AES-256 encryption
Full-database encryption powered by SQLCipher.
Portable vault format
The active database is stored as an encrypted .saltmarkvault document, not in a provider-controlled database.
Enforced privacy boundaries
Source-policy tests reject direct network APIs, caches, and unreviewed logging.
Secure unlock
Use Touch ID as an alternative unlock path, or add YubiKey protection to a vault.
Encrypted backup snapshots
Backups are encrypted snapshots rather than sync. Folder storage is user-selected, and iCloud remains optional.
Private browser handoff
The extension validates a bounded native message before it enters the app.
